Thescreescore – Emma Stone continues to solidify her place as a generational talent, earning her seventh Oscar nomination and etching her name in awards season history. With the announcement of the 2026 Oscar nominations, Stone received a Best Lead Actress nod for her performance in the 2025 film Bugonia. The film garnered a total of four nominations, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.
This nomination marks a significant milestone: Emma Stone is now the youngest woman to achieve seven Oscar nominations. At 37, she has been recognized for her acting in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), La La Land, The Favourite, Poor Things, and Bugonia, as well as for her producing roles on Poor Things and Bugonia.

Stone is second-youngest person to reach seven Oscar nominations, after Walt Disney. The previous record for women was held by Meryl Streep, who reached her seventh nomination in 1988 at 38 years old. Stone is also the first woman to be nominated twice for acting in and producing the same movie.
