Thescreescore – In a surprising move that’s sure to delight fans, the $880 million Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) blockbuster, Spider-Man: Homecoming, is landing on a new streaming service just in time for the highly anticipated release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in 2026. After swinging into theaters in 2017 and captivating audiences worldwide, Tom Holland’s first solo outing as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will be available on Peacock starting February 1st.
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming not only cemented Holland’s place as the definitive web-slinger for a new generation but also introduced a fresh take on the character within the established MCU. The film, which sees Peter Parker balancing high school life with his newfound superhero responsibilities while battling Michael Keaton’s Vulture, also stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.

Currently, Spider-Man: Homecoming is available on both Disney+ and Paramount+. At this time, it remains unclear whether the film will be removed from either of those platforms once it joins Peacock’s streaming library.

Each film has garnered impressive Rotten Tomatoes scores, ranging from 91% to 93%, solidifying the trilogy’s status as a fan-favorite within the MCU.
With Spider-Man: Brand New Day slated for release on July 31, 2026, fans can catch up on Peter Parker’s earlier adventures on Peacock. The fourth installment promises to continue the trend of integrating Spider-Man into the wider MCU, with potential appearances from characters like Punisher, Hulk, and Scorpion. The returning cast includes Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, alongside new additions Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Tramell Tillman, and Marvin Jones III.
