Thescreescore – As Disney continues its ambitious journey to breathe new life into its animated canon, the production of the live-action Tangled remake has reached a significant turning point. While the world awaits a fresh take on the legendary tale of Rapunzel, the cameras have officially stopped rolling for a key segment of the ensemble, signaling that the massive undertaking is moving steadily toward its finish line.
The latest update comes via social media, where twin actors Hugo and Patrick McPherson shared an emotional farewell to the production. The duo, who portray the formidable Stabbington brothers—the secondary antagonists known for their pursuit of Flynn Rider—announced they have officially wrapped their roles. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the brothers reflected on a transformative six-month journey, sharing photos alongside co-stars Milo Manheim and Teagan Croft. While the departure of the "Stabbingtons" marks a major milestone, it remains to be seen which members of the star-studded cast will be the next to exit the set.
Directed by Michael Gracey, the visionary behind The Greatest Showman, this reimagining promises a grand scale that the original 2010 3D-animated classic could only dream of. The production has turned the streets of Spain into the magical Kingdom of Corona, utilizing the Ciudad de la Luz studios in Alicante to construct the iconic, towering sanctuary that has defined Rapunzel’s life.
