Thescreescore – In the sprawling cinematic universe of Pokémon, few characters command as much cult devotion as the versatile Eevee. While fans have spent years theorizing about the next evolutionary leap for this Gen 1 icon, a massive milestone has finally been reached within the competitive arena of Pokémon Unite. The long-awaited arrival of Flareon and Jolteon has officially completed the legendary evolutionary roster in the popular MOBA, marking a triumphant moment for the franchise’s most adaptable creature.
According to recent reports from Siliconera, the October 13 update acted as the final piece of a complex puzzle. For players, this means the entire spectrum of Eeveelutions is now playable. The rollout has been a slow-burn masterclass in character deployment: starting with Sylveon in late 2021, followed by a steady stream of fan favorites like Espeon, Glaceon, Umbreon, and Leafeon. With Vaporeon joining the fray in late 2025, the recent inclusion of the Fire and Electric types ensures that no elemental niche remains unfilled.
From a tactical standpoint, these new additions offer distinct "roles" that will undoubtedly shift the current meta. Flareon enters the battlefield as a high-offense, melee All-Rounder, designed for players who thrive in the heat of close-quarters combat. Conversely, Jolteon provides a high-octane alternative as a Speedster Melee unit, utilizing a unique "Jolt Counter" mechanic to escalate damage through rapid, precision strikes. For those looking to add these powerhouses to their arsenal, each license is currently available for 590 Aeos Gems.
