Thescreescore – For decades, the cinematic landscape of the DC Universe has been defined as much by its darkness as its heroism. While the caped crusaders often steal the spotlight, it is the psychological depth and sheer menace of their antagonists that truly elevate these films from standard superhero fare to modern mythologies. Now, fans of the darker side of the DC mythos have a reason to celebrate, as a massive new physical media collection is set to immortalize the franchise’s most legendary threats.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced the "DC Villains 6-Film Limited Edition Steelbook Library Case." This high-end 4K Ultra HD collection is a curated journey through nearly half a century of cinematic villainy, spanning from the foundational era of the late 1970s to the gritty, modern interpretations of the early 2020s. The collection offers a fascinating chronological study of how DC’s most iconic bad guys have been reimagined for different generations. Collectors will find a diverse roster of cinematic threats, including the cerebral Lex Luthor, the chaotic Joker, the enigmatic Catwoman, and the unsettling Riddler.
