This figure includes $19.4 million from the domestic market and an additional $11 million from international territories. Surpassing the $30 million mark places the movie among a select group of only 22 Stephen King adaptations to achieve this feat.
Given that approximately 50 Stephen King movies have graced theaters over the years, "The Running Man" has already distinguished itself. However, it faces a significant challenge in recouping its substantial $110 million budget. Typically, big-budget films need to earn approximately 2.5 times their production costs to break even, suggesting that "The Running Man" needs to reach around $275 million to be considered a success. While its final box office performance remains uncertain, it is unlikely to reach this target.

If "The Running Man" maintains its current momentum, it could potentially earn around $84 million by the end of its theatrical run.
