In a recent interview, Renner delivered a surprisingly definitive answer regarding Hawkeye’s potential involvement in the culmination of the Multiverse Saga, leaving fans reeling and questioning everything they thought they knew.
As one of the original six Avengers still standing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hawkeye’s presence in the upcoming Avengers films seemed almost guaranteed. However, when directly asked by Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM if he would be appearing in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, Renner responded with a blunt, "No. No." This declaration prompted the hosts to inquire if he was concerned about Marvel replacing him with a multiverse variant of Hawkeye.
Renner, unfazed by the prospect of being replaced, chuckled and stated, "If they want to do that, they can go ahead by all means and do that." He then added, "I’m pretty busy myself," suggesting that his schedule might be a factor in his absence.
