Thescreescore – Eight years after a tantalizing tease in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Michael Mando is poised to unleash Scorpion upon the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Leaked set photos from Spider-Man: Brand New Day have ignited fan excitement, showcasing Mando in character as Mac Gargan, seemingly sprung from prison and ready to settle a score with our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
The images, initially shared on X by @MyTimeToShineHello, offer a glimpse behind the scenes of the highly anticipated fourth installment in the MCU Spider-Man saga. Two photos feature Tom Holland, back in action after a reported injury, striking signature Spidey poses, though not in costume. The other two photos focus on Mando, first in what appears to be a standard-issue white prison jumpsuit, and then inside a helicopter, suggesting a daring escape or a tactical deployment.

Mac Gargan’s journey to becoming Scorpion has been a slow burn. Introduced in Homecoming as a criminal apprehended by Spider-Man, Gargan’s post-credits encounter with Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton’s Vulture) hinted at a simmering vendetta. Now, it appears that Gargan is ready to embrace his villainous destiny and transform into the Scorpion, presenting a formidable challenge for a Peter Parker who is now operating without the world knowing his secret identity.
